NEDO SILICON VALLEY NEWS VOL.46 – JAPANESE PITCH NIGHT – BY NEDO

NEDO, in collaboration with Silicon Valley Forum, held Japanese Pitch Night on December 12th 2019, at Hanahaus, Palo Alto, which marked the 8th event of NEDO’s Immersion Program. Five startups from Japan, in the areas of biotech, health-tech and robotics, presented their technologies and business plans during the pitch, aiming to seek partnerships, fund-raising and business expansion in the U.S. and global markets. Prior to the event, five companies had completed workshops and seminars in Japan and Silicon Valley.
The event also featured a panel discussion by distinguished CEOs and investors, with topics on health tech investment trends and the degree to which we could expect in health tech industry for upcoming years.
The event enjoyed the presence of 150 guests, from major corporations, Venture Capitals, other startup companies and universities.
