About the event

NEDO and Silicon Valley Forum welcome you to our 7th Japanese Pitch Night, our longest-running international series! Meet an amazing new group of technology startups from Japan, who will present their companies onstage for the first time ever in Silicon Valley. In addition to the pitching, this event will also feature a panel discussion on the latest trends in health tech investment trends in Japan and the US.

XELA Robotics is the only producer and seller of 3-axis tactile skin sensor patches for use in robotic applications such as grippers and robot arms. Our products can provide solutions for robots in packaging & warehousing, gaming devices, assembly, food, surgical and service robots. The company was founded in August 2018 and has achieved revenues of 94.000$ in its first operating year. Our team consists out of 9 people with a collective experience of 73 years in tactile sensing. BionicM Inc. was founded in 2018 aiming to provide high-functional robotic prosthesis based on the humanoid robotics technology developed by Dr. Sun Xiaojun, Founder and CEO of BionicM, and amputee. The technology is unique in motion assistance and natural movement which help amputees’ mobility. BionicM is trying to solve the both problems of non-powered prosthesis and powered prosthesis by utilizing their technology to improve the QOL of +10 million of amputees in the world.
