Kenji is in charge of planning and operation of NEDO’s smart grid projects in the U.S. He also conducts research on the U.S. government policy, technology and market in the U.S. energy sector and advanced technology areas. Before Kenji assumed the current responsibility in Silicon Valley, he was in charge of publishing “Renewable Energy Technology White Paper” as well as planning technology development projects which targeted mass penetration of renewable energy generation at NEDO headquarters in Kawasaki, Japan. During his assignment at METI in 20xx, he worked on energy efficiency projects and global expansion of Japanese new energy technologies. He holds Bachelor’s degree in Marine Science and Technology and Master’s degree in Marine Biotechnology from the Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology.
